The learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent - BMC has once again sought time to file additional Affidavit in Reply to the Writ Petition. By the prior orders dated 13th January, 2025 and 17th January, 2026, the Respondent - BMC were directed to file additional Affidavit in Reply. Inspite of these directions, the Respondent - BMC has failed to comply with the same. The 1/2

6-wp-2196-2024.doc Respondent - BMC was also directed to file brief written submissions on behalf of the Respondent prior to the next date, which they have failed to comply with.

Accordingly, we grant last opportunity to the Respondent - BMC to file additional Affidavit in Reply as well as brief written submissions subject to payment of costs Rs.10,000/- which shall be paid to the Petitioner. The Respondent - BMC shall file the Affidavit in Reply and brief written submissions within a period of one week from today.

Writ Petition shall be placed for consideration on 24th March, 2026, high on board.
