Despite our detailed order dated 24 June 2024, neither the BMC nor the Police Authorities have bothered to file Replies. The reasons for not filing the Replies are neither convincing nor promising. However, since we require the Replies, we direct the BMC and the
Police Authorities to now file and serve their Replies within a week from today i.e. on or before 29 July 2024 without giving any further excuse. The copies of the Replies should also be furnished to the Intervenors.
