This Petition filed under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for appointment of an Arbitrator. The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that attempts have been made to serve the Respondents on a couple of occasions. This is Pallavi Wargaonkar, PS 1/2

An order dated 24 July 2024 of this Court has given liberty to serve the Respondents by private mode of service within two weeks and the matter stood over to 14 August 2024. The said order is also complied with by subsequent affidavit of service dated 6 August 2024. When the matter is called out today, there is no appearance on behalf of the Respondents.

In the facts and circumstances aforesaid, Issue Notice to the Respondents returnable within 4 weeks from today. 3.

Liberty is given to the Applicant/Petitioner to serve the Respondents by private service to ensure the appearance of the Respondents.
