The learned Advocate General for the State, Mr Sardessai for the first respondent and Mr Padiyar for the fifth respondent seek two weeks time to file a reply. They say that advance copies will be supplied to the learned Counsel for the petitioners.

2. Accordingly, we post this matter for further consideration on 17.01.2024. The construction which the first respondent is carrying on shall be done at the risk and consequences of the first respondent. This 12th December, 2023

WP(F) 2795 of 2023 means that the first respondent will not claim any equities.

3. After the replies are filed, the petitioners' prayer for interim relief would be taken up for consideration.

4. Considering the averments in paras 1 and 2, the petitioners will have to take necessary steps to comply with the PIL Rules. Accordingly, leave is granted to amend the petition. The amendment should be carried out within two weeks. Mr Fereira states that office objections will be cleared within two weeks from the receipt of the amended copy of the petition.
