The Petitioners are challenging interim order passed by the Tribunal under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

Learned Advocate for the respondent-original applicant, on instruction, states that till the Tribunal decides the point of jurisdiction/maintainability, the order impugned in the writ petition dated 23rd July 2024, shall not be enforced.

The petitioner therefore, will be at liberty to raise such objection before the Tribunal, which shall be decided by the Tribunal within a period of six weeks from the date of filing of such application.

In view of statement made by respondent no.2, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
