The only prayer as made in this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is assailing the show cause notice dated 22 June 2024. The prayers read thus:- "(a) issue a writ of certiorari or other appropriate writ, order or direction quashing and setting aside the Impugned Communication dated 27 March 2019 issued by the Respondent No. 1 (Exhibit A)."

Mr. Andhyarujina, learned senior counsel for the petitioner has fairly stated that the show cause notice has been discharged. In view of the order of the designated authority namely the Hon'ble Minister for Ports and Mining, Maharashtra State, Mantralaya, Mumbai a communication dated 2 March 2023 was issued to the petitioner that the show cause Pallavi Wargaonkar, PS

23-WP-262-2024 (C).doc notice dated 22 June 2024 has been quashed and set aside. The said communication is placed on record in affidavit filed by the petitioner Shri V.R. Shankar dated 18 April 2024 (page 501 to 507). 3.
