Mr. Bhavake, counsel for the petitioner make a categorical statement before us that on being offered an appointment on compassionate ground on the post of peon with effect from 15/06/2024, he is ready to accept the appointment. Though he has invited our attention to the joining report dated 4/01/2025, where he has expressed his willingness to join the post by keeping his right open to be recruited on the post of Laboratory Assistant or Junior Clerk, Mr. Bhavake has instructions to make a statement that he will not insist upon it, as he will be satiated with his appointment.

Issue notice to the respondent nos.6 and 7, which is made returnable on 7/02/2025.

In the interregnum, respondent nos. 6 and 7 are directed not to appoint any other person than the petitioner on the post of peon, which was offered to him. It is also open to the petitioner to resume the said post unconditionally.
