The petitioner is challenging notice under Section 148 of Income Tax Act,1961 and the consequential reliefs are also solicited. 2.

Issue notice for final disposal to the respondents returnable on 20.02.2025. Learned counsel Mr. Sharma waives service of notice for respondent no. 1 and 2.

In the light of pendency of issue before Hon'ble Supreme Court in the matter of Hexaware Technologies Limited vs. Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax (2024) 162 taxmann.com 225/464 ITR 430 (Bombay) there shall be interim relief in terms of prayer clause (d) which is as under :

d) that pending the hearing and final disposal of this petition, the Respondents be restrained by an order and injunction of this Hon'ble Court from taking any steps pursuant to the Impugned Notice under section 148A(b) of the Act dated 01st August 2024 (Exhibit "A"), the Impugned Notice dated 09th
