The Petitioner is challenging the order dated 08th May 2024 passed by the Family Court, Mumbai. According to the Petitioner, the evidence of the Respondent is altogether different from the pleadings; therefore, he has objected to it. The Family Court has passed an order dated 08th May 2024 holding that the point raised by the Petitioner can be considered at a later stage since he is at liberty to point out the contradiction at the relevant time. The Petitioner has circulated this matter as the hearing of the matter before the Family Court is going on as per the directions issued by this Court. Since it is a time-bound matter, it has to be decided by 31st May 2026.

The Petitioner is challenging the order passed by the Family Court in the present Writ Petition. Since the arguing Counsel of the Petitioner is not available today, he seeks adjournment and makes a request that the matter may be kept later. However, learned counsel appearing for the Respondent submits that the matter is actually listed today for the 'admission and denial of documents', though on board it shows for 'evidence'.

Learned Family Court is requested to defer the hearing of the matter upto 22nd July 2025.
