On 5th July, 2024, we had granted time to the State, namely, Respondent Nos.1, 4, 5 & 6 to file an Affidavit-in-Reply within a period of two weeks from the said date and also recorded that if the State fails to place on record an Affidavit-in-Reply, we will proceed on the basis that the State has nothing to say in the matter. Today when the matter is called out, Mr. Patel once again sought time time to file an Affidavit-in-Reply. We are not at all happy with the way this matter has been conducted by the State. However, to ensure that no miscarriage of justice takes place, as a last opportunity, we direct the State, namely, Respondent Nos.1, 4, 5 & 6 to file their Affidavit-in-Reply on or before 27 August, 2024, and serve a copy of the same on the Advocate for the Petitioner and the Advocate for the MIDC.

We make it clear that under no circumstances further time shall be granted to the State for filing any Reply. 4.
