The Petitioner is an Association of School Bus Owners and has been established with an object to safeguard the interest of its members and to promote the safety and welfare of students. 2.

The Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the Respondents to implement the provisions of amended Rules of the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles (Regulations for School Buses) Rules, 2011. It is pointed out that Public Interest Litigation viz. PIL No. 97 of 2016 is pending on the same issue.
