DATE : 09 SEPTEMBER 2024 P.C. :- The learned Counsel for the parties have placed before us the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated 20 August 2024 disposing of the proceedings arising from the interim orders passed in these Petitions. The Hon'ble Supreme Court has observed that the High Court should go ahead with the final hearing of the matters and has also made it clear that the parties will co-operate with expeditious disposal and will not seek adjournments. 2.

The learned Senior Advocate for the Respondent - MPSC points out that the pleadings in these Petitions are not yet complete and after the interim order, which was the subject matter of challenge before the Hon'ble Supreme Court was passed, four more Writ Petitions came to be filed on the same subject matter where replies are not filed.

In the light of the fact that the pleadings are not yet complete, it is not possible to take the matters for hearing

immediately, which fact is pointed out before us by the learned Counsel for the parties.

Therefore, at present we defer the hearing to 24 September 2024 to be listed under the caption "For Directions". Replies and rejoinders in all these Petitions to be filed before the next date so that the matters can be taken up for disposal at the earliest. 5.

As regards the additional affidavit, which some of the Respondents (selected candidate) propose to file, copy of the additional affidavit be supplied to the Advocates appearing for the parties in that Petition. As to whether to grant such leave, to be considered after hearing the parties on the same. M.M. SATHAYE, J.
