Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 12th March 2025.

Mr. Rayrikar, learned AGP appears and waives service of notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3 - State. 3.

The Commissioner, considering the report submitted by the District Supply Officer, recorded a finding that the nature of illegalities alleged against respondent No.4 are serious in nature, which includes creation of record to show supply of food grain to the dead persons, married daughters, and not maintaining the record as per Rules. However, said finding has been interfered with by the respondent No.1 assigning the reason that previously

32-wp1124-2025.doc respondent No.4 had not indulged in such activities and in case of permanent cancellation, the source of livelihood is taken away. 4.

Considering the reasons assigned in the impugned order, the petitioner has made out a case for grant of ad-interim relief. 5.

Hence, until further orders, there shall be ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (c).
