Heard Mr Deshmukh, learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr RS Pawar, learned AGP for the State.

The Petitioners complain that their lands have already been taken over for expansion of the highway. However, till date, no compensation is paid to the Petitioners. 3.

Accordingly, we direct the 2nd Respondent and the 4th Respondent to file their affidavits on or before 30 January 2025 clarifying position.

Mr Pawar clarifies that he appears only on behalf of Respondent Nos. 3 to 6. Accordingly, a fresh notice must be served upon Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 and the Petitioners

13-ASWP-1191-2024.DOCX should take steps regarding such service. Learned Counsel for the Petitioners states that even a copy of this order will be served upon the 2nd Respondent to respond the allegations in this Petition.

We clarify that if no replies are filed and served by 30 January 2025, we will proceed in this matter without such replies. The Petitioner to file affidavit of service. Notices to indicate that subject to constraints of time an endeavour would be made to dispose of this Petition finally at the admission stage.
