The petitioners are before us awaiting decision pursuant to their representation to the Collector, a licencing authority under the Rules for Licensing and Controlling Places of Public Amusement (other than Cinemas) and Performances for Public Amusement, including Melas and Tamashas 1960 dated 26.02.2024 (page no.71 - Exhibit-K). 2.

The learned AGP, on instructions, submits that appropriate decision would be taken within eight weeks.

The writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.3 to take appropriate decision on the petitioners' representation (Exhibit-K), as expeditiously as possible and in any case within eight weeks, in accordance with law.
