In this petition, orders dated 29.01.2025 and 11.08.2025 indicate that this Court had granted time on earlier occasions for ensuring that amount is refunded to the petitioner at the earliest. Despite the observations made in the said orders and this petition being kept for compliance today high on board, the learned AGP has instructions to make a statement that the amount to be refunded is still being processed. We are not satisfied with the response of the respondents and since respondent No.2 - Collector Dhule, is ultimately responsible for ensuring refund of amount to the petitioner, we are of the opinion that an appropriate direction needs to be issued to the said respondent in this petition.

List this petition for compliance / direction on 26.09.2025 'High on Board'. It is made clear that if the amount is not refunded to the petitioner by the said date, the Collector Dhule shall remain personally present in this Court.
