One of the points raised in the Petitions is that the learned Presiding Officer of the Central Government Industrial Tribunal-II has been passing ex-parte orders reducing or waiving the amount of compulsory deposit under section 7-O of the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 without grant of an opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner-EPFO and more importantly without recording any reasons for doing so.

Issue notice to the Respondents for final disposal of the Petitions, returnable on 5 March 2025. In addition to Court notice, private notice is permitted to the Petitioner to serve on the Respondents.
