With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, heard finally.

In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:

a) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ in the like nature directing the Respondent No.1 to decide the Application/representation of the petitioner as soon as possible within a period of 4 weeks and in a time bound manner.

8-WP-1542-2025.doc b) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the Respondent No.1 to provide access to the petitioner from his land to the service road.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner with regard to his grievance has submitted representation to respondent no.1 - National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to provide access to property due to service road development. It is submitted that according to the instructions received by the petitioner, the representation has not been decided.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.1 - NHAI submits that in case such a representation has been submitted and is pending, the same shall be decided within a period of four weeks from today.

The aforesaid submission of the learned counsel for the respondent no.1 is placed on record.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the competent authority of respondent no.1 - NHAI to consider and decide the representation, if filed by the petitioner and same is pending, by a speaking order within a period of four weeks from today.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the matter.
