The petitioner's proposal for grant of family pension is pending before respondent Nos.5 and 8.

Learned Advocate for the respective respondents makes a statement that the petitioner's claim could be decided on its own merits within a reasonable time.

In view of the same, we direct those respondents i.e. respondent Nos.5 and 8 to decide the petitioner's claim for grant of family pension on its own merits within a period of five weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.

A proposal of grant of family pension to the petitioner is said to have been prepared by the Medical Officer, Primary
