The Petitioner claims to have passed the TAIT. His name does not appear in any TET exam result scam. He has also completed self verification on the PAVITRA Portal. He is waiting for his selection. 2.

The grievance for which this Writ Petition is filed is that the State of Maharashtra has started recruiting retired teachers who are less than 70 years of age, at a paltry honorarium of Rs.20,000/- per month keeping in view the huge vacancy in the posts of teachers. Such persons are to exit from such contractual employment the moment regularly selected candidate from the PAVITRA Portal is made available. 3.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has an apprehension that, by recruiting retired teachers, the 72.wp2199.24.odt

State Government will go slow on the PAVITRA Portal and would be reluctant to have a continuous PAVITRA Portal activity. 4.

The learned AGP submits that this Writ Petition is filed on an apprehension and misconception. The PAVITRA Portal is now being conducted expeditiously in the light of the orders of this Court in PIL No. 2 of 2022. The State has decided to continue with the PAVITRA Portal recruitment process and is making every effort towards achieving the said objective. A day would come when there would be hardly any vacancies after the PAVITRA Portal recruitment is operated successfully. He further submits that the moment the Petitioner's turn comes, based on his merit ranking, he would also get a job. 5.

In view of the above statement, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
