Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2.
The Writ Petition No. 2412 of 2023 came to be filed in this Court by Tribal Rights Protection Committee for a direction that the caste certificates of 38 employees appointed in the Life Insurance Corporation of India (for short "LIC") under the reserved category should be verified. The Division Bench of this Court disposed of writ petition directing that the LIC will take necessary steps within a period of four months. This order was passed on 4 July 2023. Thereafter, a review petition came to be filed bearing No. 95 of 2023. The same was rejected by order dated 29 November 2023. The Petitioners - employees have now filed this writ petition challenging notices issued to them on 9 January 2024 that if they do not produce caste validity certificates within 10 days the consequences as envisaged under the governing statute would follow. 3.
Learned counsel for the Petitioners pointed out that as an employer, reference will have to be made by LIC and it is before Caste Scrutiny Committee that the Petitioners will produce all necessary documents and evidence in support. Learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned counsel for the Intervenor point that the Respondent - LIC has not forwarded the claims. 4.
Issue notice to the Respondent Nos. 1 & 2, returnable on 2 April 2024.

In the meanwhile, Respondent Nos 1 & 2 will forward the caste claims of the Petitioners to the concerned scrutiny committees. Before taking any action against the Petitioners on the ground that they have not submitted caste validity certificates, Respondent Nos. 1 & 2 would take appropriate leave from this Court. ( M.M.
