Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioners. 2.

Our attention is invited to the copy of communication dated 27.03.2024 addressed by the Naib-Tahsildar, S.D.O Office, Thane to the Tahsildar Thane. Accordingly, the Tahsildar was asked to submit his explanation to the complaint made by the Petitioners to the Sub Divisional Officer, which was the subject matter of the order dated 27.03.2024.

We therefore direct the office of the Sub Divisional Officer, Thane to take the complaint, which is referred to in the communication dated 27.03.2024 annexed at Page-61 of the paper book, to its logical conclusion and if necessary, take appropriate action within a period of eight weeks from today. 4.

The complaint be decided on its own merits and in accordance with law. We have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the allegations made in the complaint. 5.
