The impugned judgment of the Armed Forces Tribunal in Original Application No.89 of 2018 is dated 17th October, 2022 which is challenged in this Petition, filed in 2025. 2.

At the time of retirement, the Applicant was placed in the low medical category for the disease (1) Bilateral SNHL and (2) Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The disability pension was refused which has been granted by the impugned judgment.

Issue notice to the Respondents, returnable on 18th June, 2025.

Let the Affidavit-in-Reply be filed on or before 11th June, 2025.

Though we are not staying the impugned judgment, we would expect the Tribunal to refrain from imposing costs on the Petitioner.
