We have heard Mr. Deshmukh, learned counsel for the petitioner. The grievance of the petitioner is in regard to the rights of the petitioner's land in question being seriously affected by the actions of respondent no. 4 and in that regard, a representation is made by the petitioner to the Director General of Police and other parties annexed at Exhibit-I. Considering the nature of the contents of such representation, Mr. Deshmukh has fairly stated that the petitioner be permitted to move an appropriate representation to the appropriate authority making its grievances. He states that the petitioner intends to make two individual representations, firstly to the Commissioner of Police at Thane as also to the Collector, Thane.

In our opinion, the suggestion of Mr. Deshmukh is fair. We permit the petitioner to make such representations to the said authorities within two weeks 26 March, 2025

24.WP3280_2025.DOC from today. If the same are made, the petitioner be heard on such representation and appropriate decision on the representations be taken by the respective authorities within four weeks from the date of its filing. All contentions of the parties are expressly kept open.
