The present petition arises out of the alleged refusal on the part of the respondent-Society to comply with the interim order passed by the Cooperative Court, directing the Society to furnish and permit inspection of the "I" and "J" Registers and to pay an amount of 10,000/- to the petitioner. It appears from the record ₹ that the interim order has been partly complied with, inasmuch as inspection of the "I" Register has been granted and copies thereof have been supplied. However, the direction relating to the "J" Register has not been complied with. According to the Society, when the petitioner handed over the records, only the counterfoil of the share register was made available. This contention involves disputed questions of fact. It further appears that the interim order arises out of proceedings in relation to the election conducted in

4-wp-3285-2025.doc the year 2015. The term of the Managing Committee has been over by now. Hence, nothing remains to adjudicated in the present petition.

It shall, however, be open to the petitioner to invoke the remedy available under Section 154B(8) of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960.
