The Petitioner, who is the father of the deceased-husband of the Respondent No. 1 challenges the order dated 5th July 2023, passed by the Family Court, Kolhapur, wherein he has been directed to pay maintenance of Rs.1,500/- to Respondent No. 2 herein. It is claimed that Respondent No. 1 is not the legally wedded wife, of the deceased Ulhas Anandrao Yadav, and therefore, Respondent No. 2, who claimed to be his daughter, is not entitled to maintenance. It is also claimed by the Petitioner that he has no income to make payment of the amount of Rs.1500/- per month, since he himself is getting an amount of Rs.1000/- from the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Anudan Yojana. It is also submitted that the Petitioner has deposited Rs.15,000/- in the Family Court as per the order passed by this Court on 6th March 2024. 03rd July 2025 R.V.Patil

The Petitioner's claim is opposed by the learned Counsel for the Respondent contending that the Petitioner has lands at Mouje Undri, Tal- Panhala, Dist- Kolhapur, in Gat Nos.43, 331, 334, 337, 352 and

187. Apart from that, the Petitioner has received various amounts from the Insurance Company after the death of Ulhas Yadav. According to him, the nominees of Ulhas Yadav have received nearly Rs.1 crore towards insurance.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks time to place on record the affidavit of assets and liabilities, if any, filed by him in the Family Court. The learned Counsel for the Respondent also shall take instructions about the documents in support of his claim about receiving Rs.1 crore towards insurance.

List the matter on 24th July 2025.
