Arguable questions are raised. Hence, Rule.

Prima facie it appears that in a proceedings arising out of declaration of respondents' status as agriculturist, the Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal in the impugned order relied on order passed by the authority under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 to confer status of agriculturist. Therefore, there shall be interim relief of status quo qua Clause 4 of the order dated 13 December 2023 passed by the Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal. 3.

Ms. V. S. Nimbalkar, AGP waives service for respondent Nos.1 and 2/State.
