Maharashtra Pollution Control Board ("MPCB") has filed a report stating that the Sewage Treatment Plant ("STP") is functioning but not according to the prescribed norms. Learned counsel for the Petitioner placed on record an analysis report and suggest that in terms of this report the norms are being complied with.

That is the matter for MPCB to examine. Therefore, the MPCB should once again inspect the STP on 5th July 2024 and file a further report on whether the STP is functioning in accordance 3rd July 2024
49.WP.3716-24.DOCX with the norms or not. The Petitioner should render full cooperation to the MPCB officials.

Learned counsel for MPCB states that if the Petitioner applies for renewal of consent to operate, then such application would be considered by the MPCB in accordance with law and dispose of expeditiously.
