The petitioner contends that the land of the petitioner is not acquired for any public purpose, however in the revenue entries qua the petitioners land it is shown that the 'the land is intended to be acquired for a public project'. It is submitted that such remark continues to be reflected in the revenue records. According to Mr. Deshpande, this has caused serious prejudice to the petitioner. Mr. Deshpande in support his contention has placed reliance on similar orders passed by this Court. Responding to the petition, Ms. Vyas, learned Additional Government Pleader submits that she has received instructions in writing from the Deputy Collector (Rehabilitation, Pune) that 11 October, 2024 Kiran Kawre

926-WP-3840-2024.DOC the Authorities are ready and willing to delete the said reference / remark in the revenue records within eight days from today. 2.

We accept the statement as made by Ms. Vyas on behalf of the Collector, Pune.

Accordingly, the petitioner would not require further adjudication. The respondents are directed to comply with the statement as made in the communication dated 10 October 2024, addressed to the Learned Additional Government Pleader within eight days from today. Copy of the said communication is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. 4.
