Considering the issue, we requested the learned Advocate Mr. Pankaj Deokar, who normally appears for the Sangli Zilla Parishad, to assist the Court. On our request, he has appeared in this matter.

We have heard the learned Advocate for the Petitioners, the learned AGP and the learned Advocate for Respondent Nos. 2 and 3.

We have perused the order dated 21st April, 2023 passed by the Division Bench of this Court, at the Aurangabad Bench, in a group of Writ Petitions, bearing Writ Petition No. 7126 of 2022 (Manoj Arjunrao Mali Versus The Chief Executive Officer and Another).

The claim of the Petitioners is now crystallized in the light of the judicial pronouncements. Their representation dated 21st November, 2023 is pending before Respondent No.2, the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad.

An innocuous prayer put forth by the Petitioners is that their representation dated 21st November, 2023 be decided in the light of the order passed by this Court in the case of Manoj Arjunrao Mali (supra).

This Writ Petition is, therefore, disposed off with a direction to the Zilla Parishad, Sangli to consider the representation of the Petitioners, dated 21st November, 2023 in the light of the order passed by this Court in the case of Manoj Arjunrao Mali (supra) and after confirming their rights in terms of the directions

issued below paragraph 7 therein, an appropriate order shall be passed.
