Vide order dated 22nd April 2024, this Court directed the petitioner to pay wages to the respondent with effect from 30th May 2003 to 01st March 2007 along with interest @ 6% per annum. The petitioner was directed to deposit the entire amount as directed by the learned Tribunal along with updated interest. The amount was directed to be deposited within a period of four weeks. The respondent - employee was also permitted to withdraw 50% of the amount out of such deposit. Ad-interim stay on the execution and implementation of the order under challenge was made subject to the deposit of such amount.

Mr. Kawale, learned counsel instructed by Mr. Suryawanshi, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has complied with the directions issued by this Court and the amount has been deposited accordingly. The statement is accepted as an undertaking to this Court.

The notice was issued to the respondents, and it appears that Mr. Shingare has caused his appearance for the respondent - employee. Today none appeared for the respondent. Stand over to 07th April 2026. In the meantime, the respondent may, if so advised, file a reply affidavit and serve a copy in advance to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
