IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

CIVIL APPELLATE JURISDICTION WRIT PETITION NO.4281 OF 2024 Digambar Jain Mandir Trust and ors.

... Petitioners V/s.

Ld. Joint Charity Commissioner and anr.

... Respondents ______________ Mr. G. R. Agrawal with Ms. N. P. Boraste, Advocates for the Petitioners. Ms. D. S. Deshmukh, AGP for the State.

_______________ CORAM : SANDEEP V. MARNE, J.

Dated : 10 February, 2025.

P.C. :

1.

The Petition challenges order dated 19th June, 2023 passed by Joint Charity Commissioner, Nashik region, Nashik directing the Petitioner-Trust to issue paper-publication inviting fresh bids for alienation of its properties. It appears that previously the bids were invited by the Petitioner-Trust for alienation of its property in June, 2020, when Covid-19 pandemic was at its peak. In my view therefore, invitation of fresh bids would only enable the Petitioner-Trust to secure higher offers for alienation of the trust property. No interference is therefore warranted in the impugned order. 2.

Petition is accordingly rejected.
