In the meantime, we are informed by the learned Counsel for the Petitioners that the Petitioners' license to conduct the liquor shop has been extended for a period from 1st April,2024 to 30th April,2024. The learned AGP to take instructions about the nature of license so granted.

In so far as the contentions as raised by the Petitioners in the Writ Petition are concerned, the learned AGP shall place on record a detailed Reply Affidavit including contentions as urged on behalf of the Petitioners under Section 11A of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949. Needless to observe that any action against the Petitioners shall be subject to further orders that may be passed in this Petition. 04 April, 2024
