Heard Ms. Shruti Pokale, learned counsel for the petitioner holding for Aadesh Deshmukh, and Mr. Deolekar, learned AGP for the State.

This petition seeks a direction to request the learned District and Sessions Judge to expedite the hearing in Civil Miscellaneous Application No. 464 of 2022 and Miscellaneous Application at Exhibit -10 filed therein and to decide in which the time bound is scheduled. Normally, we do not issue such directions or writs.

However, Ms. Shruti Pokale points out that the matter has been adjourned not less than eight occasions. She further states that the petitioner is aged 82 years old and suffering from multiple ailments.

Considering the submissions made by Ms. Shruti Pokale, we request the learned District and Sessions Judge, Pune, to consider the petitioner's application for expeditious disposal by giving the necessary priority which is accorded to matters concerning senior citizens.

This petition is disposed of in the above terms without any costs for order.

All concerned to act on an authenticated copy of this order.
