The learned Advocate for the Respondent submits that, the order of interim maintenance granted in favour of the Wife has been challenged by the Petitioner in the present Writ Petition. In the meanwhile, the Divorce proceedings itself has been decided, the Family Court has granted Decree of Divorce in favour of the Wife. Therefore, the present Writ Petition has become infructuous. 2.

However, as per the interim orders passed by this Court, the Petitioner was directed to deposit an amount Rs. 5,50,000/- with the Family Court at Mumbai, failing which the protection granted by this Court was to be vacated.

According to her, the Petitioner has not fully compiled with the said order. He has deposited an amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- with 22nd September 2025 Kartikeya

16-WP-4943-2024(U).DOC the Family Court, Mumbai. Hence, she may be granted liberty to withdraw the amount deposited in the Family Court, Mumbai. 4.

In view of the changed circumstances as stated hereinabove, the challenged to the impugned order will not survive. Since the Petitioner is not present today, list the matter on 23rd September 2025, for passing appropriate orders.
