Learned counsels submit that mediation has failed and the matter be heard on merits. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the petitioner is in arrears to the tune of Rs. 12,000,00/- as on date. Learned counsel for the petitioner disputed the aforesaid figure.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to file an affidavit on record explaining the payment made towards the maintenance amount granted by the Family Court. Necessary affidavit to be filed within one week with an advance copy to the learned advocate for the respondent.

List the petition under the caption for 'urgent admission' on Page no. 1 of 2

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks extension of adinterim relief, however, seeks time to argue the petition on merits, on the ground that she needs time to go through the papers. 5.

Hence, though there was an order granting interim protection on 4th April 2024, I am not inclined to continue the same, as by order dated 4th April 2024, interim protection was granted as the parties were exploring the possibility of an amicable settlement. 6.

Hence, the petitioner shall make necessary arrangement for payment towards arrears of maintenance.
