Prima facie it appears that order passed in Tenancy Case No.99 of 1972 was challenged after 37 years. The Revenue Tribunal has considered validity of 1972's order on merits that purportedly considering issue of delay. The revenue Tribunal has considered merits of the order passed in 1972 for setting aside the said order without considering sufficient cause for condonation of delay.

Hence, issue notice to respondents, returnable on 18 June 2024.

Until further orders, there shall be ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (d).
