Prima facie, it appears that complainant admitted in his cross-examination that his father was serving with respondent No.1 on the date of his death. The Respondent No.1 applied for compassionate appointment in place of his father who was serving with respondent No.2 on the date of his death. However, the Industrial Court by impugned order has directed petitioner to consider the application of complainant for compassionate appointment as per rules.

Hence, issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 20th June 2024.

Until further orders, there shall be ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (c).
