The petitioner seeks expeditious consideration of Appeal (Diary) No.1089 of 2023 by contending that the Appeal having been filed in June, 2023, the same is not yet been taken up.

Having perused the material on record, we deem it appropriate to grant liberty to the petitioner to make an application before the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal for expeditious consideration of the Appeal. If such application is made, the Tribunal shall consider the same in accordance with law. Needless to state that if the petitioner is not satisfied with the outcome of that adjudication, he is free to take such steps as are permissible in law.
