All these Petitioners claim to be identically situated. All of them have suffered orders of removal from service, by the respective Zilla Parishads, which are impugned in these petitions. The learned advocates for the Petitioners submit that the impugned orders, though illegal, are not by way of penal action or disciplinary action. They rely on the interlocutory orders passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.2928/2023, dated 15.03.2023 and in Writ Petition Nos.1612/2024 and 1694/2024, dated 09.02.2024. The learned advocates categorically submit that they have not been relieved from employment.

2.

Issue notice to the Respondents, returnable on 15.07.2024. The learned GP / AGPs waive service of notice on behalf of the State authorities in these matters.

( 3 ) 3.

In the event the impugned orders have not been implemented and the Petitioners are still in employment, status quo as existing today shall be maintained.

4.

All office objections to be removed on or before 01.07.2024, failing which, the Petitions shall stand dismissed without reference to the Court, on 02.07.2024.
