1) The Petitioner has alternate and equally efficacious remedy of filing proceedings before the Controlling Authority under the Payment of Gratuity Act regarding his grievance of forfeiture of gratuity vide letter dated 31 March 2021. In the light of existence of alternate remedy before the Controlling Authority, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition.

2) Leaving open all the contentions on merits and granting liberty to the Petitioners to file proceedings before the Controlling Authority, the petition is disposed off. Time spent in prosecuting the petition shall be considered at the time of deciding the proceedings before the Controlling Authority.
