The Petitioner has relied upon the order passed in Writ Petition No. 6544 of 2024 by this Bench on 8 May 2024 and states that similar course of action be adopted.

We have passed detailed orders in Writ Petition No. 4321 of 2023 and connected petitions on 18 July 2024 and 20 August 2024, where the minority institutions are involved placing our disapproval on record that it is not brought to the notice of this Court either by the advocate for the Petitioners or by the office of the Government Pleader that the issue as to the minority institution and applicability of the Teachers Eligibility Test ('TET') has been referred to the Full Sneha Chavan

2 910-WP-5643-2024.doc Bench and Full Bench itself has deferred the hearing in light of the fact that the matter is pending before the Supreme Court. Therefore, the order was passed on 8 May 2024 before this position was brought to the notice of this Court. Taking cognizance of this position in Writ Petition No. 4321 of 2023 with connected petitions, we have directed the Secretary of the Education Department to look into the issue and to place the stand of the State on record and the group of petitions is now adjourned to 26 September 2024.
