In this writ petition, the petitioner, inter alia, seeks a direction to respondent no. 3 Bank to grant benefit of One Time Settlement Scheme-2012 floated by respondent no. 2. 2.

The Hon'ble Supreme Court, in the case of Bijnor Urban Cooperative Bank Ltd. & Ors. vs. Meenal Agarwal & Ors.1 has held that no writ of mandamus can be issued to a bank to accept the proposal under the One Time Settlement Scheme. 1 (2023) 2 SCC 805

In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for an adjournment in order to enable him to examine the aforesaid aspect.
