One of the contentions urged by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that on 8th April 2024, a license for establishing a private market was issued by the Director of Agricultural Marketing. However, on 15th April 2024, the said Authority has suspended the operation of the said license without giving any show cause notice to the petitioner under Section 5D(4)(b) of the Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 1963. Attention is invited to Ground 'D' in the writ petition in that regard.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 10th June 2024. Learned AGP waives notice for the respondent-State of Maharashtra. 3.

Considering the prima facie case made out, there shall be ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause [B].
