This Writ Petition is filed by the husband challenging interim maintenance order passed by the Family Court, Pune. The outstanding as per the impugned order is roughly around Rs.10,80,000/-.

Mr. Nene,learned counsel appearing for the Respondent husband submits that the outstanding amount is only Rs.3,92,634/-. He submits that since the husband was being paid the maintenance to the two daughters at the rate of Rs.50,000/- per month to each of the daughters. Hence, a sum of Rs.6,87,366 has been paid.

In order to show his bona fide, the petitioner to deposit in the Family Court at Pune a sum of Rs.5,00,000/-, without prejudice to the rights and contentions of both the parties within a Amol D. Nawale

909.wp.6096.2024.doc period of four weeks from today. Subject to the deposit of the said amount, this Court will issue notice to the respondent, returnable after four weeks thereafter. Subject to the depositing of Rs.5,00,000/- there will be ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (b) till the next date of the hearing. The prayer clause (b) reads as under :

(b) Pending the hearing and final disposal of the present Writ Petition, this Hon'bleCourt be pleased to stay the effect, operation and implementation fo the order dated 16th March 2024 passed below Exhibit-15 by the Learned Judge of Family court No.2, Pune in Petition No.A-299 of 2022;
