It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that in the proceedings before the Tahsildar, he had on 13/01/2024 demanded a report of the Circle Officer and other relevant documents with a view to contest the notice dated 25/05/2023. However, without considering that request the impugned order came to be passed on 20/02/2024. The documents demanded were supplied thereafter on 21/02/2024. Our attention is invited to Ground (l) in the writ petition in that regard.

Keeping the aspect of availability of alternate remedy open, issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 04/09/2024. The learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for the respondents.
