The learned Advocate appearing for the Respondents seeks time to file Affidavit-in-reply.

The learned Senior Advocate for the Petitioner submits that under Rule 118(4) of the Explosives Rules 2008, the suspension of a license shall not debar the holder of the license to apply for renewal of the license. It is submitted that despite attempts being made to seek renewal of the license, the online system being operated by the Respondents is not accepting the application for renewal.

The learned Advocate for Respondent No.4, however, submits that letter dated 1st March 2024 came to be issued to the Petitioner to supply various documents, but the Petitioner has not complied with the same. This is perhaps the reason for the application for renewal not being accepted. The learned Advocate for the Respondents to produce the aforesaid communication dated 1st March 2024 on the next date of the proceedings.
