Heard Ms. Khunte, Petitioner's wife; Ms. Goswami, learned Advocate for Respondent Nos.1 and 3 and Mr. Bhadang, learned AGP for Respondent No.2 - State.

Today, Petitioner's wife and son are present before me. The wife of the Petitioner's has complained to the Court that they desire to appoint a new Advocate but previous Advocate is not giving the NOC. She has made grievance with respect to several issues which I need not detain myself with at this juncture.

I direct that Petitioner shall be free to appoint a new Advocate of his choice and the new Advocate if so appointed shall file his/her vakalatnama accordingly. They would inform the Court that

31.WP.6532.24.doc they shall appoint a new Advocate within a period of four weeks from today. If the Petitioner appoints a new Advocate, the new Advocate shall file his/her vakalatnama in the Registry. Registry is directed to accept the same without the NOC of the previous Advocate. 4.

In the event if Petitioner appoints a new Advocate, the new Advocate is permitted to take a copy of the papers of the Petition from the record and Registry shall give the same to him if so applied for in accordance with law.
