DATE : 06 MAY 2024 P.C. :- The Petitioner and Respondent Nos. 1 to 6 are related. The Petitioner has raised an objection for disbursal of the compensation for acquisition under the Maharashtra Highways Act, 1955. The Petition is filed for a direction to decide the objection and to refer the proceedings to the Civil Court on the premise that the Petitioner has raised a dispute. We are of the prima facie opinion that considering the relationship of the Petitioner and the Respondent Nos. 1 to 6, the resolution of the inter-se dispute can be tried through mediation process.

The Petitioner will give notice to Respondent Nos. 1 to 6 and 8 and file affidavit of service. In the meanwhile, if the Respondent No.7 proceeds to take any decision on the objection raised by the Petitioner, the amount would be disbursed only after taking leave from this Court.
