The Petitioner is pursuing his VIII semester of BA LLB course conducted by Savitribai Phule University, Pune. Since the Petitioner failed to submit his examination form to the Respondent No.4-College by 29th April 2024 which was the last date for doing so, the Petitioner has approached this Court in the present writ petition. 3.
It is the case of the Petitioner that on 26th April 2024 his great grandmother expired and hence for attending her funeral he had visited his native place and returned back on 30th April 2024. On the strength of communication dated 2nd May 2024 issued by the College, the Petitioner
Sayyed 503-WP.6576.2024.doc sought to submit his examination form. Since the last date was 29th April 2024 his form has not been accepted.

Issue notice to the Respondents, returnable on 21st June 2024. The learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for Respondent No.1-State. Mr. Anbhule, learned counsel waives notice for Respondent Nos.2 and 3.

Considering the fact that the Petitioner is pursuing his VIII semester examination and last date to submit the examination form was 29th April 2024, subject to the outcome of the present petition, the Petitioner shall be permitted to submit his examination form to the Respondent No.4-College by 4th May 2024, so as to enable him to appear for all the examinations in that regard. The Petitioner's examination form shall be accepted by Respondent Nos.2 and 3 accordingly. However, the results of the Petitioner's attempt shall not be declared without the leave of the Court.
